 Woodcock West Euro Champion again

 North Wales based crew of Guy Woodcock and Phill Harrison retained the West Euro Cup for the 2005 Season at the recent Rallye Le Touquet in Northern France. The crew, in their KUMHO shod Ford Escort MAXI Kitcar maintained their virtual 100% finishing record in the 2005 Season, the only retirement being 4 miles from the end of one of the Dutch events when in line for their best ever position of 8th overall.
The Ford Escort was originally built in 1997 for use by Welsh rally expert Gwyndaf Evans for the British Championship and was purchased by Guy Woodcock in 2002 and successfully campaigned 2004 winning the West Euro Cup outright and the best overseas crew in the Irish Tarmac Championship. The 2005 Season saw them retain the West Euro Cup with an emphatic win over much more powerful and expensive cars.
