 Donnelly
wins Donegal Rally

 National
champion Eugene Donnelly won the Shell Donegal International Rally
for the first time on Sunday 20th June.
The Kumho-backed Irish rally ace, driving a Toyota Corolla, finished
one minute and 26 seconds ahead of this year's Circuit of Ireland
winner Derek McGarrity. The win moves Donnelly into third place in
the 2004 Irish Tarmac Championship behind McGarrity and Austin McHale
Kevin Lynch was a further minute and 20 seconds back in third while
McHale took fourth. Seamus Leonard was seventh and won the Group N
class.
Andrew Nesbitt crashed twice on stage 16 and ended up in 35th place.
