 Kumho
celebrates winners at Autosport International

Kumho is celebrating the achievements of its winning drivers at
this year's Autosport International Show, leaving no one in any doubt
about the company's competitive abilities in international motorsport,
both track and rally.
Formula 3 takes centre stage on the stand with a Red Bull liveried
F3 car representing the company's meteoric progress in Formula 3 around
the world. Winners on Kumho tyres in 2003 included Ryan Briscoe in
the inaugural F3 Euroseries, F1 debutant Christian Klien in the Marlboro
Masters and Richard Antinucci in the Korea Super Prix.
Rallying is also given a high profile, following historic titles for
David Mann in the Kumho National Rally Championship and Eugene Donnelly
in the Dunlop National Rally and ME Crowe Northern Ireland Championships. |

Kumho also threw down the gauntlet in the European Rallycross Championship
with wins for Per Eklund and Jean Luc Pailler on the company's new
specialist radial tyres.
Kumho's expertise in developing racing and rallying tyres is demonstrated by an extensive array of new and existing motorsport products. Heading the list are the ECSTA F3 slicks and wets used in the F3 Euroseries, Marlboro Masters of F3 and the Korea Super Prix, for which Kumho was Official Tyre Supplier in 2003. Highly praised by many of the world's leading F3 drivers, Kumho's F3 product has now been adopted as the control tyre by the new F3 Euroseries.
Other products on display include the popular V70A circuit and tarmac rally tyre, the new R800 forest/gravel tyre and the FIA approved C03 and TW01 tarmac rally tyres. The S700 Rallycross radial is also on show.
Kumho is rapidly developing a name for itself in the fast-growing track day market and the stand features two different pattern variants specially developed for this type of application - one in run-flat specification.
The stand also features several prominent examples of Kumho's comprehensive ECSTA road tyre line-up. Most dramatic of these has be the mega 325/35R28 STX 4x4 tyre but there are many other to interest the enthusiast driver, including the directional Supra 712, the asymmetric KU19 for highly tuned sports and super cars, the KH11 and KH15 for executive tourers and and examples of Kumho's next generation ultra high performance styling.
